PRIVACY
Effective 1 August 2026
We collect as little as the site can function on, and we don't sell any of it. This page describes exactly what is collected, who processes it on our behalf, and how to get it deleted.
What we collect
If you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address, and your first name if you choose to give it.
If you buy something: your name, email, phone number, and shipping address. Your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never sent to, seen by, or stored on our servers.
If you send a tip: the amount and payment status. Card details again go straight to Stripe.
If you comment: your display name and the text of your comment. If you signed in with Google, also your name, email address, and profile picture. We also store a one-way scrambled fingerprint of your IP address — not the address itself — purely so we can stop a bot posting a hundred times a minute. It can't be reversed, it's never shown to anyone, and it isn't used for anything else.
Automatically: standard server and security logs kept by our hosting provider. Your shopping cart is stored in your own browser, not on our servers.
Why we collect it
To send the newsletter you asked for, to fulfil and support your order, to show your comment alongside the post, and to keep the site secure and working. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Who else processes it
These providers handle data on our behalf so the site can operate:
- Vercel — website hosting and server logs
- Supabase — database and account sign-in
- Stripe — payment processing (they receive your card and billing details directly)
- Printful — printing and shipping (they receive your name, address, and email so your order can reach you)
- Resend — sending the newsletter and order confirmations
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with a Google account
Comments are not sent anywhere. Spam and abuse checks run entirely on our own infrastructure — no outside company, and no AI service, sees what you write. What you post here stays here.
Some of these providers operate outside Canada, which means your information may be stored or processed in other countries — including the United States — and may be accessible to authorities there under the laws that apply to them.
Cookies and embedded content
We do not run advertising or analytics trackers. A cookie is set only if you sign in, to keep you signed in.
Pages that embed a YouTube video load content directly from YouTube, and YouTube may set its own cookies when that player loads. That is governed by Google's privacy policy, not this one.
Email and unsubscribing
We only email people who asked us to. Every newsletter carries a one-click unsubscribe link and our mailing address, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Order confirmations and replies to your support emails are transactional and are sent regardless of newsletter status.
How long we keep it
Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe and ask for removal. Order records are kept for seven years, because Canadian tax law requires it. Comments stay up until you or we take them down.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email millsmilliontv@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We cannot delete order records still required for tax purposes, but we can remove everything else.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the effective date above and say so in the newsletter.
